Karmon - Wowshit

Karmon creates a wonderful interaction between good and evil. With the funky brass synth on top of a pumping baseline Wowshit is a worthy employer name for this EP and a proof for of what 24 year old Karmon is capable of.

V/A - Casual Acquaintances EP

People meet, click, share taste in music and start sharing ideas, ping-pong productions back and forth and that's how this “Casual Acquaintances” EP was born. Normally Noir would produce all the music from scratch till finished product and hook up with singer/songwriters for the vocals, but on this EP its been a joint venture between the artists and the end result has become deep, sexy and quite groovy.

Anna Lunoe & Friends - Real Talk

Anna Lunoe & Friends Real Talk EP is all Australian and all party! On 'Real Talk' Anna teamed up with mysterious Sydney producer Touch Sensitive - who you may remember brought you 'Body Stop' back in 2005 on Future Classic - for what could be THE perfect summer house anthem.. pianos, uplifting pianos, vocal stabs, pianos! A tune that you could see rubbing shoulders with classics like 'Strings of Life' and 'Gypsy Woman'.

Kim Brown - Spring Theory EP

Superb Deep House from Kim Brown, making her/his debut on the boutique Berlin imprint, Just Another Beat. Elegantly paced and carefully arranged, Brown's first outing makes a strong impression. "Camera Moves" sounds like The Burrell Brothers making out with Sven Weissmann, while 'This Will Like Never Be The Same' hits a hazy, nostalgic vibe with lush Balearic Boogie infusions.

Behling & Simpson feat. James Fox

Futureboogie poster boys Behling & Simpson step up for another masterclass in low slung, bass tinged house, enlisting the skills of hot London based producer James Fox for ‘EP2’.
With past releases garnering support from industry heavyweights such as Pete Tong, Tensnake, Julio Bashmore and Funk D’Void, honorary Bristolians and long-time DJs Behling & Simpson are truly carving out a place in the UK house scene. All about the space explored at the lower bpms, making room for swing and groove whilst keeping it bumping and flooded with warm bass – a B&S track can sound like Derrick Carter on codeine. With classic jungle and techno at the roots of their musical upbringing and an extensive collection of solo releases between them under various guises, B&S have taken their passion for drums, swing and bounce to the house range with sparkling results on the Futureboogie imprint. Watch out for the Boogiefuturo Edits series (featuring re-licks of Faith Evans and Julio Bashmore), soon to be re-pressed after taking the world by storm last year.
The first two tracks of ‘EP2’ demonstrate the sheer studio compatibility with James Fox as ‘Work That Body’ launches the EP with a richly layered dance floor workout centred on a classic RnB sample. As ever it’s a full-bodied seductive treat where more is more and slow is best as plenty of low-end rumbles underneath the pitched down jacking groove and uplifting keys. Next up, the more subtle analogue stylings of ‘Tangled’ teem with rhythmic nuances, thickly layered percussion and melodic curves.
Another talent at the forefront of the new breed, James Fox, made a huge impact with his debut releases ‘Put It Back’ on TAKE Records and the mighty summer 2011 anthem ‘New Jack Swing’ on Brighton’s Well Rounded Housing Project. James met Behling & Simpson back in the day when they used to go raving in the same dingy sweatboxes in Manchester. Aliases, musical styles and cities have since changed and while they may spend less time bonding at Whalley Range after parties, the producers have thankfully ended up in the studio together where the chemistry is clear.
The second half of the EP is pure Behling & Simpson, with ´AAW´ being their take on chunky drum-led NY House with a twist, while ´Good Thang´ takes classic New Jack Swing as a starting part, before veering off wildly into the world of swinging drums and bass-led grooves. In a nutshell, another golden release for Futureboogie.

Clancy - Lightbox

With Clancy’s new track “Lightbox”, simply put, you cannot go wrong. In terms of feeling + emotion, it’s an extremely well balanced track. With elements of 90s house mixed with sharp, cosmic disco, the track seems to fit well wherever you are. ”Lightbox” could be well served as that one track every DJ needs in his or her repertoire to really get the dance floor going, in a club or on a beach. It’s dreamy enough for daytime, deep enough for night time. It’s a smoothed out, multi-layered, proper dance tune suitable for any occasion where asses will be moved + dance floors will be grooved.

Nitetime - Jive Talk EP

Nitetime is the new production duo from Boston, USA comprised of Kon (from Kon & Amir) and Whisky Baron which was first sent to us by fellow Bostonians - Soul Clap. Nitetime’s debut EP Jive Talk sits between OG boom bap hip hop - with its tough drums and grooved up interludes - and the 4/4 rhythms of classic house and disco. It also comes packed with a little more history than meets the eye…

Who better to describe the tracks and history than Kon himself?

"All the People" is a classic throwback to 88-92 era of house, lots of 909s and what not, "Teddys Jam " is sort of a deeper, slower late night track, dark and moody with banging drums and "Jive Talk" is a crazy sounding synth riff, George Duke-ish block party vibe… congas and stuff going on.

Then the interludes in between kinda tie the tunes together. I feel thats missing from EP's and full lengths... and I've never heard it done on dance records. De la Soul and Pete Rock would have these amazing little beats, and its just bringing it back."

On the digital EP you can pick up Soul Clap’s extra laidback remix of Hey! which was specially mixed by Lee Curtis of Spectral Sound / Get Physical fame. This also marks Soul Clap’s second remix on Future Classic - hopefully you’ve checked out their chunky drum remix of Mario & Vidis euro anthem ‘Changed’!

The EP has only just been pressed to wax and it's already picking up love from Gilles Peterson, Jacques Renault, Eli Escobar, Soul Clap, Recloose, Frank Booker, Karizma, Lefto from Belgium and Lovemonk in Madrid. Don't let this record slip through those dusty fingers of yours.

Peter & The Magician - Memory

Peter & The Magician are back in the game with their second EP “Memory” out July 9th on Kitsuné!
The unpredictable duo Peter & The Magician are composed of the brilliant producer Yuksek and talented Belgian producer The Magician!
They’ve always kept in mind a common desire to mix their styles and influences in order to create something new and unheard. Their first EP “Twist” out last June on Kitsuné was already a huge success and caused quite a stir all around the world! Their forthcoming single “Memory” is a dancefloor stomper and proves one more time that they share many influences and a mutual love for italo disco and electro beats. The package also contains three exclusive remixes by the colourful Le Crayon, the mysterious NSFW and the funky Pointdexter.

Julio Bashmore - Troglodytes

Ahead of his set at Sonar this weekend, Julio Bashmore has offered up a brand new tune, called “Troglodytes”, as a free download. "Troglodytes" features a sort of Navaho wind pipe melody and an impassioned man talking about, that’s right, Troglodytes. Bashmore has also announced the creation of his new label Broadwalk, which we can only imagine will have some high quality releases coming in the next year or so, including his already out-there hip-shaker Au Seve.

Poolside - Slow Down

The LA based duo Poolside have just unveiled their first single "Slow Down" from their debut album "Pacific Standard Time" out July 9th 2012. "Slow Down" is a slow summer lethargy anthem and comes with a lovely pool party based video.

PARADIS - Hemisphre B/W Je M'ennuie

After their debut last year for Beats In Space, French electro-pop duo Paradis are back with a new EP on Tim Sweeney's label. It's a sensitive kind of disco they ply their trade in, calling to mind the fragile voice and heart-warming charm of Erlend Oye and The Whitest Boy Alive. "Hemisphre" is especially soothing, and yet not afraid to be a little funky with a crafty break at the end of every eight bars. "Je M'en Nuit" instead has a quirky swing to it, and given the title the atmosphere is more logically aimed towards the night time rather than the gentle Sunday morning climes of the first track. Highly recommended.

Daniel Dexter - Work Your Body (Audiojack Remix)

We knew that Audiojack is always a sure shot but this time they outdid themselves. They boys from the industrial allyes of Leeds made a killer track topping understated coolness with hard drums and short crisp synthie steps that pierce your brain, two goose bump moments included that will keep you wanting to just go ? yippeah yeah!!!? over and over again.

Konrad Black & Art Department - Graveyard Tan

Canadian musical heavyweights Konrad Black & Art Department join forces for a single that is set to be one of the big underground records of the summer. Konrad Black is a Vancouver born DJ/Producer that has made his mark on the global electronic music scene over the past decade, be it with his influential co-owned label Wagon Repair or his residency at Panorama Bar in his home of Berlin, his name has become synonymous with quality and a passionate approach. Fellow Canadians Kenny Glasgow & Johnny White of Art Department need no introduction other than their name. Easily one of the most influential and inspiring duos in deep their sound is uniquely their own and this EP with the added kick of Konrad is nothing short of spellbinding. Together Konrad Black & Art Department offer up the wonderfully deep and dubby ‘Graveyard Tan’, a record presented with two different version, both of which are build around a darkly soulful vocal incantation and searingly twisted synth riff. The A side presents, Version 1, a richly mixed, bass heavy affair that has you hypnotised from the opening bar with it’s 6am audio aesthetic whilst the flipside offers up Version 2 with its intense FX brought to the fore. Release Date: Vinyl 4 June / Digital 18 June

Satin Jackets feat. Eric Cozier - Hollywood (Chris Jylkke Miami Mix)

Having popped up on Mullet and House of Disco Records, German nu-disco types Satin Jackets have decided to launch their own label. Naturally, they kick things off with something they've penned themselves, the typically Balearic, synth-heavy "Hollywood". Blessed with a lazy, laidback vocal from Eric Cozier, it sounds a bit like late '80s Pet Shop Boys (think Introspective or Behaviour rather than "It's A Sin") after sharing a fistful of E's and a string of super-strength spliffs with Johnny Marr. Swede Chris Jylkke remixes, emphasizing the Balearic elements on a long, lazy rework that's probably destined to grace a 'Beefa chill out compilation.

Mercury - Old Man’s House EP

New Mercury out now. The “Swiss House Mafia” – that’s how they call the boys from Mercury and their friends Round Table Knights. Here comes the fourth Mercury EP. Much deeper than the last singles. Think Paris Filter House 1998 meets a gospel singer and a percussion band… but better than thinking is.. The Old man's House EP contains three original tracks and a remix of the title track by (Cocoon, Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical). The A-track «Old Man's House» is a highly effective, minimalistic stomper, enhanced by Southern Gospel. While still being very dancy, Dawson's version is cooler, adds more depth and gives the original a touch of disco. «Rio» is a genuine summer anthem combining an atmosphere of Brazilian joie de vivre with a drifty four-to-the-flour pump. Last but not least, «Lost in Ibiza», a deep, trippy track – featuring the singing (or let's say moaning) of Mercury's Simon – that takes one back to 90's Ibiza

Rhode & Brown - Only A Deer Can Tell EP

The Munich based duo Rhode & Brown kicks off the EP with "Get High", an energetic cut with a driving bassline that will melt the faces of party goers everywhere . That belter is followed by a party starter by the name of "Its Been Kinda". Soulful vocals and killer stabs (the choice of verbage sounds weird, but hopefully you get it) make 'Its Been Kinda'... kinda fucking great. After that is "A Man's Recipe", a feel good track with beautiful piano chord progressions, a great bassline, and the tiniest bit of eerie, yet sexy vocal samples. Delicious. Last, but certainly not least, is the slower, R&B tempo'd "Had A Dream"- a blissful head nodder that reaches us just in time for the summer!

Giselle - Silk (Cosmic Kids Remix)

The Australian singer Giselle is best known for her vocals on Flight Facilities’ first hit "Crave You". Giselle recently dropped her beautiful debut single "Silk", and now the track gets the remix treatment by the amazing LA duo Cosmic Kids. This is beautifully, chilled and slow indiepop. Get it here: Giselle - Silk (Cosmic Kids Remix)

Little Boots - Headphones (Dimitri From Paris Dub)

The king of modern disco, Dimitri From Paris, does it again with a dub of Little Boots’ "Headphones". The up-rock old school dance feel makes this track golden. This is why Dimitri From Paris is the champion of this sound! Vocal remix is out too :)

Matthew Dear - Her Fantas

Matthew Dear is prepping his fourth album, Beams, for release on Ghostly at the end of the summer. The LP’s first single, “Her Fantasy,” opens surprisingly cheerily for the man behind Black City, bright like Sunday at the beach, with hints of seagull squeaks and chirps of speech from two blankets over. It’s a fun track from the start, but soon grounded by Dear’s back-of-the-throat singing, his anxious lyrics building and building till they drown the cheeriness out altogether for the song’s shocking conclusion. Beams comes out August 27th.

Ernesto vs Mario & Vidis - Care

Special tracks have a special story behind them. And this one certainly does. After Mario & Vidis recorded a couple of tracks with Ernesto for their debut album Changed they invited him to perform in their home country. During his short stay in Lithuania Ernesto performed two times and both times closed his set with a track called Care. It was kind of a mash-up - Swedish singer & songwriter was using lyrics of his old song to sing over Metro Area's classic Caught Up to a big effect - leaving the packed dance floors to a sing along to lyrical hook of 'sisters and brothers, smokers and lovers, care for me' every time. Big fan of Metro Area's sound Vidis offered him to do a reversion of this mash-up using Caught Up as a reference and inspiration. The vocals were re-recorded, new arrangement was done, and the song was tested in the clubs as well as live on stage. So here it is - another big tune from the three to sing and dance along

Bukka & Molinari - Mind Games

Bukka & Molinari's, "Mind Games". I'm afraid I can't remember the original but it’s a dreamy, lush jaunt into coastal atmospheres and fluttering arpeggios. A nice Balearic guitar lick rolls through the track alongside gentle pads before a completely invigorating male vocal transports us off into celestial bliss.
