Mario Basanov - Say What Ya Want

Mario Basanov comes from a different angle to most dance music producers. He’s one of a handful from Lithuania to make waves globally and has over a decade of experience despite still being in his twenties.
In Basanov’s 16 track "Journey" he exposes new and exclusive records featuring the vocalists that brought him to the limelight, such as Jazzu taking root in the elegant atmospheres of ‘Under Your Feet’ and Stee Downes who features on the more buoyant "Say What You Want", shooting punches through the vocal lines and spinning magic within its synth basslines. "Say What Ya Want" is one of the best tracks from the album, and this one has not been published before..

Mario Basanov is no stranger to the music community, having garnered Producer of the Year in 2011 in his home country of Lithuania, and one of the biggest underground tracks of 2010 (Mario &Vidis - Changed) - we are proud to announce a 2 track EP from him showing his versatility as a producer. Walker & Royce are on remix duties for Side A, with EPs and Remixes on heavyweight labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Glasgow Underground, Pets Recordings and of course their home base at Nurvous, they raise the bar with this remix.

Mario Basanov - Closer EP

Lithuanian super producer is coming back for more and for showing the other side of his multifaceted musical persona. Best known for catchy hooks, pop melodies and vocal productions, Mario delivers here two slow burners in form of Closer and Something About. Darker and deeper than one might expect Mario Basanov is at his best here. On remix duties are two fellows from the other side of Mario’s studio wall – a dynamic duo of Saulty and Bradka better known as Downtown Party Network. The combo pitched up the tempo, beefed up the groove, and even added some euphoric stabs and strings for enhanced dance floor usability of the title track.

Solid member of the Needwant family Mario Basanov is back with the eagerly awaited ‘We Are Child Of Love’ - a deep house, disco tinted, emotive masterpiece featuring redubs from Mario himself and a seductively smooth and effortlessly groovy remix from Needwant’s newest recruits the rising Parisian duo The Mekanism.

The Mekanism – Can’t Believe
