Needwant - Various Artists - Traxx EP

This EP is an exclusive collection of tracks that spot light the unknown and uprising producers featuring on a brand new compilation titled TRAXX - The House That Garage Built. They bring us old school techniques against some clever bass manipulation to give us their interpretations of the original New York and New Jersey sounds. On the A side we have LA based Rhythm Operator with their track "Anytime" followed by The Real Connoisseur with the bountiful bass "Faux De Baux". While on The B side Purple Velvet wrap things up with "Never Do You Wrong". A solid EP delivering a new take on classic sounds and a taste of what to expect on the full Traxx album release on the 18th March via Needwant.

Mario Basanov - Say What Ya Want

Mario Basanov comes from a different angle to most dance music producers. He’s one of a handful from Lithuania to make waves globally and has over a decade of experience despite still being in his twenties.
In Basanov’s 16 track "Journey" he exposes new and exclusive records featuring the vocalists that brought him to the limelight, such as Jazzu taking root in the elegant atmospheres of ‘Under Your Feet’ and Stee Downes who features on the more buoyant "Say What You Want", shooting punches through the vocal lines and spinning magic within its synth basslines. "Say What Ya Want" is one of the best tracks from the album, and this one has not been published before..

Solid member of the Needwant family Mario Basanov is back with the eagerly awaited ‘We Are Child Of Love’ - a deep house, disco tinted, emotive masterpiece featuring redubs from Mario himself and a seductively smooth and effortlessly groovy remix from Needwant’s newest recruits the rising Parisian duo The Mekanism.

The Mekanism – Can’t Believe

Needwant get set to welcome you to the world of Parisian super duo, The Mekanism, with a debut EP that will make you fall in love with their spin on disco infused house music. Effortlessly smooth and divinely deep, they capture an advanced and modern sound that will blow you away. The EP features three original tracks plus a remix from Needwant favourite, Mario Basanov who continues to gain notoriety as both an individual artists and within his Mario & Vidis project. Title track ‘Can’t Believe’ oozes with a funky yet deep groove and rhythm. The empowering melody and warm keys captivate the mind, as the murky vocal takes us deep. Lithuanian producer Mario Basanov steps in for remix duty, with a housier, deeper dance floor spin on the original ‘Can’t Believe’. Grumbling stabs and rounded melodic keys drive this remix with impressive results. Next up ‘Missing Love’ is highly infectious with its forceful bass, fluid warm keys, steady claps and captivating, deep vocal, which will engulf the dance floor. ‘Your Shade’ is the third of the original tracks on offer from the talented duo. Using their own vocal for a French twist, they prove their artistic worth for this smooth deep cut.
