Blond:ish feat. Thomas Gandey - Voyeur

Blond:ish are Anstascia D'Elene and Vivie-Ann Bakos, together they make a great mixture of groovy bass and contagious vibes. Making their first Get Physical appearance on Full Body Workout Vol. 9, it was clear they had what it takes to make dancefloors move. Now we bring you their latest effort 'Strange Attractions', a two track EP featuring Thomas Gandey.
"Voyeur" showcases the groovy bass the girls are capable of, as we mentioned above. They pair this up with a coherent, nonchalant vocal line from Thomas and classic Tech House percussion. A great blend with a deep feeling and laid-back attitude the girls effortlessly radiate.
Mr. Gandey makes another appearance in 'Distant Lover'; another great representation of the duos overall style and feeling for mysterious ambiance. Again, deep bass lines and chilled vocals, this time mixed with a chilling guitar riff. This is just the beginning on Blond:ish, but if they keep producing at this level, we'll be hearing much more of them very soon. Keep an eye out for them, and don't say we didn't warn you.

On After Monday, Animal Trainer let us know how they feel on a Tuesday: ready for the next party, apparently. While mellow vocal samples hum over dreamy synth pads, the tracks enormous bass-line betrays the duo love for a good party, much to the listeners delight.

Booka Shade have released two brand spanking new productions "Honeyslave" and "Tomorrow Belongs To Us" first on the "Allgone Pete Tong & Booka Shade Ibiza 2012" compilation via Defected and now on the "Honeyslave EP" via Dim Mak Records. The b-side is clearly the best one, with brilliant tonal melodies and a definite stamp of absorb-able German dance music.

Finnebassen - What You Do EP

One of Deep House's hottest actors; Finnebassen, simply can not be stopped at the moment."What You Do", is a fantastic piece of dance music, fusing Finnebassen's famous funk and organic beats with a super-catchy, upbeat vocal that will have you singing while you dance… long after the track has finished. The awesome breakdown throws in more elements that make the track complete and cement the feeling. The B Side, "A Little Somethin Somethin" is the perfect compliment to the former, a soundtrack of deep thoughts and memories, filled with hazy pads, a silky percussion and a smooth baseline.
The remixes on the do incredible justice to the original mix of "What You Do" and are greatly diverse in what they set out to achieve. The first, DeMarzo 's take on proceedings is fully flavoured and the nastiest of the bunch, with a delicious combination of groove, funk and rhythm. Secondly, Mexican rising stars, Nobody Knows, bring us a darkly inspiring piece. Thoughtful and deep, this one is a journey into our hearts and minds. The final remix is from one half of NastyFunk Records management, Hendriks. His version of the original offers a forward-thinking dynamic, fusing contemplation with cosmic beats..

House of Wallenberg - Sunshine Taboo (Marcos Cabral Remix)

Future Classic just released first official compilation called "Future Classic DJs". Half of the music is exclusive to the compilation and includes specially commissioned originals and remixes by Danny Daze, DJ T, Perseus, Soul Clap, Cadillac, Softwar, Slow Hands, Tigerskin and Worst Friends. I find "Tigerskin - In Public" the best track on the entire release.

Climbers - Equal Responsibility

Climbers are Jay Blakk and Kiko Deal, and these guys know exactly what they are doing. This EP, 'Equal Responsibility' proves that. The title track carries a hugely effective 80's synth feel to it, but without the danger of being cheesy. A feel-good vocal line moves the soul as the bassline shakes your body. This is a summer track, perfect for every open air and festival to come. MAM (Miguel Campbell and Matt Hughes) remix 'Equal Responsibility' and adds emphasis on the bassline while upping the percussion to a club level. He takes it a couple shades darker and adds ingenious synthwork into the mix. The 80's feel is not gone though, just darkened. We love it, and we think you will too. 'Hypnotic Vision' is another synth heavy track, taking us on a journey through sound. This one is a bit more tricky, as it's not so straightforward in it's progression, in other words, not so predictable. That's exactly why we like it. But don't write this off as a B-side track just yet; when the beat drops you know what is up. The vibe is amazing. Well worth the wait and well worth another listen.

Jerome Derradji - Whachadoin?

In the five years Still Music's offshoot Stilove4music has been going, it's maintained a level of quality matched by few other labels operating in the edit realm, with some stellar contributions a real variety of producers - Rick Wilhite to Justus Kohncke, Trus'me to Rahaan. Label boss Jerome Derradji has been responsible for some of the finest drops too, and his fourth clutch of Stilove4Music vinyl heat is superb. "Disconnect" brilliantly twists the insides of a disco jam outwards, with Derradji realigning the elements to a constantly bumping house refrain that acid house one moment and delay heavy disco the next. Alongside this, "Whachadoin?" bends a funked out bass guitar riff to breaking point over a rigid drum beat before teasing out the harmonic elements in a manner that will sound great on a large system. On the flip, Derradji lays out some 5am warehouse party is getting deep shit in shape of "Adaptive Control" an original track that cakes the rippling acid groove in all manner of tape dust.
