Dusky - Nobody Else

Dusky has only broken onto the scene in late 2011 with their debut album, Stick By This, the profile of dynamic duo Alfie Granger-Howell and Nick Harriman has continued to rise considerably through a series of strong EPs and remixes for artists including Justin Martin and Hot Chip. Their distinctive brand of off-kilter and purposefully cross-pollinated house-garage-techno has been championed by everyone from Seth Troxler to Loefah to Pete Tong to Paul Woolford. On AUS1345, the pair demonstrate exactly why they have garnered such widespread support. Their masterful weaving of subtle, slow rising vocal clips with penetrating basslines and scattered percussion can be approached, adapted and appreciated by any dancefloor

Ali Love - Emperor (featuring Kali)

2013 is set to be an incredible year for Ali Love. The London-based producer and vocalist has recently inked a deal with the legendary Crosstown Rebels label and is currently putting the finishing touches to a new album (the follow up to 2010’s "Love Harder"). The first track to be taken from the album is 'Emperor', which features additional vocals from Kali. The single will be available on 12" and download and comes backed with remixes from Waze & Odyssey and Maceo Plex.
"Emperor" comes on the back of a creative purple patch for Ali Love. As a member of both Hot Natured (with Jamie Jones, Lee Foss and Luca C) and Infinity Ink (with Luca C Love has recently been part of two of the biggest club tracks of the last twelve months in 'Benediction' and 'Infinity'. This upward trajectory is set to continue with a Hot Natured making their debut live appearances with two headline shows at London's 5000 capacity Brixton Academy, and debut Hot Natured LP set for release later this year.
Ali Love’s new album will be released later in 2013 on Crosstown Rebels. As one of the UK’s finest electronic songwriters and vocalists, 2013 is set to see Ali deliver on all the potential he’s always promised, and receive the recognition he deserves.

Paul C & Paolo Martini - Midnight Run

With a combined career that spans 40 years in the business, Italian producers Paul C & Paolo Martini have been, seen and done it all. As part of Bini & Martini, Paolo was without doubt one of the most prolific house producers at the turn of the century, touring the globe and lending their remix talents to major dance labels like Defected, Strictly Rhythm, AM:PM, EMI, Universal, Sony and many of the worlds biggest pop acts such Jamiroquai, Kylie Minogue, Terence Trent DArby, Murk, Armand Van Helden and many many more. Paolo is now the driving force behind his own brilliant imprint, Pauls Boutique. Paul C has honed his production skills since the mid 90s and his energetic brand of tech-house has seen him release on a host influential labels. Since 2009 the pair have worked tirelessly in the studio and not only seen their music supported by many of the industrys biggest names like Marco Carola, Loco Dice, DJ Sneak and many more... Now they're coming with a massive EP on Cécille Numbers. The label founder Nick Curly and Marc Scholl just could not choose any favorite track and decided to take four tracks on one EP. All tracks impress with a massive and punchy baseline with the typical character of the cool Italian guys. Hope you enjoy and play Numbers...

Bicep vs Ejeca - You (Piano Mix)

Freebie courtesy of Bicep and Ejeca, a new piano version of You from last year's Aus Music release. Make sure you shout them on Soundcloud if you dig it.

Cle - The Jam

The Local Talk bandwagon keeps on rolling. While others have begun inching away from the classic garage/deep house revival, Mad Mats and Tooli are sticking to their guns. Given that they do it better than anyone else - there's a heartfelt authenticity to the label's releases - you can't blame them. Cle's "The Jam" is another beauty. Building constantly with bold pianos and 'Nights of The Jaguar'-ish synth-strings, its simultaneously pleasingly uncluttered (check the loose, bongo-laden groove) and surprisingly big. Dirtytwo's remix gives it a little more of a Mood II Swing-ish twist, whilst retaining some of the original's attractive looseness.

Ejeca - Different Rules EP

Ejeca or the Irishman also known as Gary McCartney has dropped his new EP "Different Rules", which is out on Lokee Musik on 8th April. You’ve got two originals on there, and two remixes provided by Ekkohaus and Eric Votla. Ejeca continues to echo his 90s influences but manages to make music that’s still sounding as fresh as ever.

Adam Beyer - Take Me Away

Adam Beyers original track starts with a heavy bass line that is a sure-fire, grooved out killer. The infectious vocal hook and melody line supplies the extra force to make this track one of the strongest releases on Truesoul to this date.

HNNY - Yearning EP

Rising Swedish house producer HNNY scored one of last year's most ubiquitous cuts in the shape of "For The Very First Time" which appeared on his debut EP of the same name for Mad Mats' unstoppable Local Talk label. Yearning marks HNNY's long overdue Local Talk return and features yet another immediately infectious production from the Stockholm based producer's armoury along with a superlative remix of his aforementioned hit. As soon as those warm keys wrap around the loose rhythms of "Yearning" you get an sense that HNNY knows how to craft a house production and the subtle vocal hook that comes swooping in will undoubtedly cause requisite chaos. On the flip, Local Talk's secret weapon Dirty Mind gets his 80s electro funk on for a blinding rendition of "For The Very First Time".

French Horn Rebellion - Girls (Rogue Vogue Remix)

Windy-City producer Rogue Vogue brings the swing to French Horn Rebellion's feel-good anthem, "Girls." A disco groove, ol' school house bass, and tasty vocal chops fashion the original perfectly to poolside parties and late-night dance floors

Guy Gerber, Clarian - Claire

Steadily mining gold in an ever-evolving electronic landscape, the Visionquest imprint gets set to unleash an incredibly special 6-track EP from Clarian - one half of the supreme duo Footprintz. Collaborating with the always-innovative Guy Gerber on the opener, Clarian voyages solo throughout the rest of the EP a collective of Chemical Gardens for a sonically re-imagined Blade Runner kingdom. Beach Boys oohs on top of Camino 808 lines with Morriconne style piano licks over a zombie meets deep house track - the Chemical Gardens EP is a patchwork of cross-genres and moods. The A-side covers ethereal sunrise magic and cosmic oddities opening with Claire featuring Guy Gerber - an emotive beauty in which dubby beats dissolve into a motif of synth stabs, sweet electronic melodies and rising waves of filtered vox.

Velour - Speedway

Velour, Julio Bashmore's hook-up with fellow Bristol producer Hyetal, returns with two moreish space-funk expeditions. While most of us were sleeping off Christmas dinner, Velour played Santa on December 25th, releasing "Speedway" into the digital ether. Now, with the addition of "Dial," the duo gives a full release to their first new material since 2010's The Velvet Collection.
"Speedway" shows some of the signifiers that have highlighted Hyetal's work, particularly the '80s electro snares. It's a bit of Cameo here, a bit of Jan Hammer there, brought up to date with crushing, echo-laden bass synths and quirky touches like turntable stops and a heavily treated ragga sample. On "Dial" there's the booming bassline/kick combo that's become Bashmore's trademark. Slowed to near hip-hop pace, the two producers add helicoptering synths and off-kilter claps.

George FitzGerald – Thinking Of You

Following acclaimed excursions on Hypercolour (‘Needs You EP’) and Will Saul’s Aus Music (‘Child EP’) last year, George FitzGerald is preparing to make his return to his Hotflush home for the first time since 2011. Premiering in FitzGerald’s debut Radio 1 Essential Mix last month as part of the ‘2013’s Future Stars’ series, ‘Thinking Of You’ is scheduled to drop as a Beaport exclusive on 18th March, with full physical release and accompanying tracks to follow in May. Having displayed his innate understanding of how to craft a musical narrative with the Essential Mix, ‘Thinking Of You’ turns to the darker realms of the dance floor imbued with the same kind of precision-tooled grooves, nuanced melodic touch and emotive shades that have garnered him such praise in the past. The last twelve months have been extremely busy for FitzGerald as he continues to capture the attention of industry heads and fans alike with his refined and emotive homegrown club music. Releasing music on his regular home Hotflush, as well as Will Saul’s Aus Music imprint and the acclaimed Hypercolour stable, not to mention his own burgeoning ManMakeMusic imprint, FitzGerald's flourishing discography continues to grow steadily but impeccably. Release date: March 18th 2013

Nick Curly - Wrong Hands

Wrong Hands is taken from Nick Curly's stunning debut album "Between The Lines" and it follows hot on the heels of 'Underground'; the track with which, assisted by a Dennis Ferrer remix, sat proudly atop of the Beatport Deep House chart for a month throughout the latter stages of 2012. "Wrong Hands" also features a dub remix by Yoruba that steers much more towards the dancefloor; a tough beat, pitched down vocal snip and a haunting melody ensuring that this is less for the hands in the air spiritual moments but for the heads down dark corners of the club.

Needwant - Various Artists - Traxx EP

This EP is an exclusive collection of tracks that spot light the unknown and uprising producers featuring on a brand new compilation titled TRAXX - The House That Garage Built. They bring us old school techniques against some clever bass manipulation to give us their interpretations of the original New York and New Jersey sounds. On the A side we have LA based Rhythm Operator with their track "Anytime" followed by The Real Connoisseur with the bountiful bass "Faux De Baux". While on The B side Purple Velvet wrap things up with "Never Do You Wrong". A solid EP delivering a new take on classic sounds and a taste of what to expect on the full Traxx album release on the 18th March via Needwant.

Ost & Kjex - Lulu

It's been three years now since the foodboys released their last recording, the critically acclaimed album 'Cajun Lunch'. Three years is a long time for en electronic act to stay silent, (but three years is not a long time when you consider what has been going on in the Ost&Kjex camp.) The release was followed by extensive touring (leaving Kjex with a few extra gray hairs, Ost with hardly none left). The birth of two new babies adding the joint families to eight. Moving to suburbia. Building new studios. Slowly but surely working on a new album. Dark clouds descending on Europe. Economic crisis and what not! The frantic times has definitely put a mark on their music as the Lulu EP shows a more somber duo than we know from Cajun Lunch. "Lulu" is a classic moody house bomb with a monster of synth riff riding on into the sunset. Vocals urging you to hold on!

Slow Hands & Tanner Ross - All The Same

Slow Hands & Tanner Ross are set to reveal the sonic alchemy that's been bubbling away since the pair first got their production juices flowing poolside, piña colada style last summer. A definitive slice of heady, bittersweet house 'All The Same' is the first gem to drop from their forthcoming collaborative album and includes a mighty remix from The Bamboozla aka Eli Soul Clap and Baby Prince. Meeting at the DEMF in 2010, it was love at first sight for Tanner Ross and Ryan Cavannah aka Slow Hands. Ending up together at a party and sharing the booth, they've been pretty tight ever since. When the whole W+L crew decided to make Majorca their base for the summer season 2011, the pair ended up spending a fruitful few weeks writing real songs for the dancefloor, and racing on giant inflatables. A duo of undeniable talent, it's about time Slow Hands and Tanner invade your ears and make your souls sing. First taste 'All The Same' is a sultry bittersweet refrain set against rolling drumbeats, and skittish snares encased in undulating waves of melody and hazy synth keys. The Bamboozla and Baby Prince take this glorious track and rework it for a more driving dancefloor, increasing the stomp and tempo, while the 'Jah Bless Reggae Mix' (a version for the album), plucks a soft reggae riff and slow things down to a languid, dubby drawl.

Butch Feat. Benjamin Franklin - HighBeams (Maceo Plex Remix)

After his excellent Lullabies To Paralyze on Visionquest at the beginning of the year, the Hot Creations enterprise have quickly snapped up the services of Butch and ahost of big hitters for remix duties including Ellum label boss Maceo Plex. He steps up for the first interpretation of Highbeams andstays quite close to original whilst introducing his typically tight drum programmingand an electro infused bass line to the party.

Kruse & Nuernberg ft. Nathalie Claude - Leaves Falling (Mario Basanov Remix)

Here we are with the last chapter of Kruse & Nuernberg's excellent debut album "Let's Call It A Day". For this special edition, they requested the talent of Mario Basanov to do a remix. Mario Basanov has been turning heads lately with his unique blend of well crafted Deep House. Here, he takes the beautiful Leaves Falling featuring Nathalie Claude and makes it his own with an almost Innervisions-esq ambience. Timeless music indeed. Fred Everything comes with his own interpretation of People Like Us, using the original elements to lift the original by adding more drums, keys and effects and extending the previously short nature of this understated song.

Motor City Drum Ensemble - Send A Prayer EP

Dani Plessow dons the Motor City Drum Ensemble name with Say A Prayer signaling a return to the production game following his much publicized creative burnout. It's clear that Plessow's period of convalescence has worked wonders, with the four tracks here every bit as deep and dusty as the much vaunted Raw Cuts series upon which the MCDE project was launched skywards. Proceedings open with the two part suite of the title track, laying down fuzzy chords and intermittent vocal swoons over a gritty 909 backbone on the opening track; part 2 meanwhile will have you digging out those Raw Cuts 12"s in order to do a MCDE master mix, such is it's immediate warmth and neck snapping drums. On the flip, Plessow uses "The Stranger" as a chance to traverse bleepier, rattling techno terrain with superb results, whilst "SP11" is rasping high octane house at it's finest.

Arthur Oskan - Adrift

The My Favorite Robot Records team continue their groundwork for 2013 with a superb EP from the highly respected Arthur Oskan featuring three tracks of pulsing electronicexcellence...

Toronto producer Arthur Oskan has been part of the city's electronic music landscape since the Nineties, forging a place for himself with his evolving signature sound, a hybrid of synth-pop, Detroit techno and industrial rock. Releases on celebrated labels such as Thoughless music, Trapez and Ghostly International have brought him considerable attention whilst bookings at high profile festival in North America and Europe have brought his own out of the studio, direct to the masses. The 'Chromantic EP' is Oskan's debut release for the My Favorite Robot Records and features three superb slice of electronic music that veer away from genre classification.

The Epic track "Adrift" that spreads its uplifting and hypnotic electronic flavours over eleven and a half blissfull minutes. The 'Chromantic EP' is an accomplished and engaging EP from a producer of considerable talent who will hopefully be contributing further to My Favorite Robot Records, enjoy.

Diynamic Neon Nights Sampler - Part 2

This is the 2nd part of the Diynamic Neon Night Sampler.
Groovy, sexy and deep, thats what they were like and thats how they continue to be on our samplers!
With their opener Catch the Light Adriatique shows that they definitely know how to combine different sounds and elements within their music. Starting with acid sounds and deep tunes, the track suddenly changes into an extremely cool and groovy mood, as the impulsive vocals join in. Adding the simple, but effective bass line, the two guys created a sound, youll have stuck in your head for a very long time!
When playing the second track by Solomun, youll understand why he named it Boot Camp, pretty quickly. Starting off in a very dark and severe way, melancholic long and short string tunes alternate until they merge into a dramatic climax, while the catchy bass steadily forces you to move your feet.
Pendos is a very deep and groovy track. Dominant percussions and a low-bass build the base, to which NTFO added blurred voices and a haunting police siren, that creeps directly under your skin. A deep atmosphere arises and captures you until the end of the track.
Hearing the cosmic-disco sound that defines Betokos track Sky in your eyes, you feel like you are drifting into space. Gripping, atmospheric sounds seem to surround you from everywhere. From time to time melodic vocals appear, so soft that they perfectly underline the spacious mood.

Laura Jones - Sensoramic EP

Laura Jones has had a breakthrough 2012. Fulfilling touring dreams and winning the hearts of the global scene with her sensual melodic house and seductive, driving DJ sets, it may come as a surprise that Let Me In is Lauras first, albeit highly anticipated, solo EP. Dropping on Visionquest, Let Me In develops Lauras signature sound, painting a fuller picture of the artist through deeper techno shades, live vocals and trademark hypnotic style. Title track Let Me In could be Lauras most beautiful and textured yet. A first foray into vocals (a feature bound to build and develop over time) the whispery undulating layers of Let Me In weave in and out of shimmering synth waves and ghostly melodic chimes while the Dub Rework delves deeper and darker with a tight and punchy groove. On the flip, Lose Myself is another emotive builder, the spacious, raw groove filled with dubby textures and tingly FX giving way to lush pads that float through the echoing vox as drama builds with a melodic bounce to work the floor. Final track Every Thought kicks off with reverberating rubbery bass and shakers, while a gothic-esque framework develops with evolving synth lines and filtered bleeps. A protégé under the Visionquest banner and nurtured under the wings of Leftroom, Laura Jones exploded into the public consciousness in 2011 with her deep and intrinsically melodic vision of house. Her Live A Little track was included on the Visionquest Spring Club Collection sampler, and her breakthrough single Love In Me stormed the Beatport chart and held the no.1 spot for several consecutive weeks the second time courtesy of stellar remixes from Maceo Plex, Kate Simko and Eats Everything. Later came a joint EP on Crosstown Rebels and an immaculate mix for the Leftroom presentsseries. Now with this timeless 4- tracker on the mighty Visionquest, the diminutive producer is destined for an even bigger 2013.

Compuphonic & Kolombo - Sand Storm

Compuphonic & Kolombo tracks Sand Storm incl. remixes by Monitor 66 and DeMarzo out on This is Recordings

Karol XVII & MB Valence - The Bar Around The Corner

"Plastic Age EP" is the seventieth release on Loco Records. With this EP, the duo Karol XVII & MB Valence would like to welcome a New Year. Although it has taken a while to come out, many can say that it has been worth waiting for the three awesome tracks included in this release: "The Bar Around The Corner", "Simple Minds", and "Days Without You".
"The Bar Around The Corner" opens the entire EP. This tune is quite characteristic due to its unique punchy big room bass line combined with stabs of synth over the top line, delicate drums that get accompanied by a subtle piano riff which in turn adds a lot of flavour to the mysterious nature of the track.
"Simple Minds", which is the second track on the EP, starts calmly and then rolls out a steady driving rhythm with seductive grooves and deep, grumbling undertones. The deep chords of the piano together with female vocal interjections make a huge combination for the big room driving sound.
The final track "Days Without You" is full of bouncy basslines rolling underneath unique melodies and vocal stabs and the clever use of strange but deep textures and noises. Swinging hi-hat pattern, a punchy kickdrum hammering through, incredible fiddle pads with some deep synth shots and gated vocal glitches are all that get the track rolling.

Justin Timberlake - Suit & Tie (Julio Bashmore Remix)

Here is Bristol’s house producer Julio Bashmore remix of Justin Timberlake’s comeback single “Suit & Tie” full of warm deep house vibes with straight forward house percussion, including classic 808 toms. It’s not adventurous, but it works when paired with the harshly slowed down piano chords and vocals.

Galarude - Cero (Part 1) & (Part 2)

Internasjonal makes a gigantic splash into the new year with the in-demand "Cero" by Galarude (DJ Kent and homies from Sly Moongose and Tokyo No. 1 Soulset) that had been a secret weapon of a selected few DJ glitterati since it's original Japan-only release in 2004 and enriches it with red hot remixes by DJ Harvey, Prins Thomas and Tuff City Kids (Gerd Janson & Lauer) spread over two separate 12"es. this first part holds the timeless original slightly reminiscent of recent Four Tet or Daphne sound aesthetics with its tough, rolling jungle drums and gyrating waves of vibraphon, organ and guitar notes sucking your head into a maelstrom of bliss. DJ Harvey, object of worship like few other DJs, puts a spell on us remodeling "cero" into an irresistible, jumping cosmic afro stomper.

Tiger & Woods - Pitch

The long awaited return of Tiger & Woods! Editainment’s top team and most dynamic duo are back with the “Banana Balls EP", which features two uncontrollable tracks, spiced and sliced and with additional bonus mixes for your dancing pleasure and in Tiger & Woods' signature style. "Pitch" is based on sampels from Melba Moore - Mind Up Tonight, is a boogie-disco number with peak-time floor-filling ambitions - funky guitars, tasty bass, sweet female vocals, all chopped and looped into disco oblivion.

Spanish producer John Talabot have made a dub version of Peaking Lights track "Beautiful Son". The married duo of Indra Dunis and Aaron Coyes, will soon drop a new EP with four remixes of songs off their 2012 album, “Lucifer”.

Damon Martin - Wintermute EP

Disco Bloodbath Recordings' first release of 2013 sees the return of label boss Damon Martin with the vinyl only Wintermute EP.
Lead track, "Feel It", is a club pumper with shades of early Chicago and Detroit. Raw drums, energetic synths and an insistent vocal sample all contribute to the feeling that this wouldn't sound out of place on The Scene or The New Dance Show. On the flip the EP's title track has a more introspective feel. Percussive TR-909 drums contrast with swirling harmonies conjuring up images of desolate landscapes. The release is rounded off by a remix from Sean Johnston, aka Hardway Bros, who turns in an acidic drug-chugger very much in keeping with the sound he has been pushing alongside Andrew Weatherall at their A Love From Outer Space club-night.

Sharam Jey & Night Talk - The Future EP

Sharam Jey is the current king of the indie house music. His collabs with Phonique, Kolombo, Tapesh, Andre Crom or his solo productions have conquered the dancefloor of many clubs around the World. "The Future EP" is his 2nd chance in Suara after the massive "Lies", featured on Kitties Wanna Dance 3. This time he teams up with the rising project Night Talk and offer us 3 smashing tunes. From the emotive "Can You Do It" to the proper club hit "The Future" and the intense "On The Floor". Bulgarian new kid on the block Metodi Hristov makes his own version of "The Future", adding some groove and techie beats to the original track.

Dale Howard - Leave Me EP

"Leave Me" is the lead track from Dale Howard 2 track EP on Resonance Records.

Nhan Solo - Nina Rocks EP

After a stellar first year on the scene, Mother Recordsings comes running into 2013 like a banshee with one hell of a release from label head Nhan Solo. The “Nina Rocks” EP features two amazing originals followed by remixes from two of the scene’s brightest, Mat.Joe and Death On The Balcony.
The EP starts with "Big Tree". An euphoric, dub induced vocal track which goes hand in hand with a funky bass-line giving a nod to that classic house sound. Made for the clubs and made to move you. This one is sure to melt away your weekday hustle and take you away to the dance floor of your weekend.
Following "Nina Rocks" is a groovy building beater of a track full of drumloops; no fluff on this one, nothing but energy. Reminiscent of that early bongo laced b-boy sound mixed with a solid, energetic, modern House kick and bold bass-line that is sure to get your ass on the floor.
The dynamic and sympathetic duo Mat.Joe (OFF Recordings) from Berlin come in for the remix duties on “Big Tree”. As expected MAT.JOE deliver a monstergroove. A new vibe on their take of this future classic. Providing a straighter, UK heavy bassline roller and a break that is sure to push the dance floor into a frenzy.
Last but not least Mother Recordsings brings us Pet Recordings/Lower East artist Death On The Balcony. DOTB boys come in with a beautiful remix for “Nina Rocks”. This time bringing a whole different interpretation on the original. This is just love - a smooth, pure, disco bliss. Promised, this one put a smile on your face and a groove within your heart.

Matthew Dear - Fighting Is Futile Remixes

As one of the stand-out tracks from his Beams LP, Matthew Dear's "Fighting Is Futile" falls prey to four very diverse remixes from friends new and old. Seth Troxler kicks off proceedings with a purposefully creepy take that plays off a horror-inducing synth line droning and tripping over a minimal shuffle to devastating effect. KiNK is in a more carnival mood, bringing an effervescent cocktail of drums to the main groove but also feeling confident in pulling the track down into stripped, bassline-and-vocal-only moments of drama. Benoit & Sergio are comfortably locked into a liquid funk with phasing bass and clean chords, while Dear's vocals come out through a distant vocoder. Laid Back finds a slow staccato groove over which to let undulating layers of acidic strangeness waft out, while also cheekily re-voicing the lyrics to a resolutely successful end.

Alex Flatner & Msms Ft. Cari Golden – Love Is A Condition EP

Sometimes when people group together.. magic happens. We think that is the case with this “Love Is A Condition” release from Alex Flatner, MSMS (Marcus Schmahl aka Broombeck & Michael Schickert) and Cari Golden. This dark vocal stomper is quite unique. It starts pretty stripped back and then builds into a more intense and captivating journey. Some first reactions has compared the outcome to Depeche Mode with a solid club-stamp on the back. We can hear the resemblance and great compliment to this addictive production. This release also offers a diverse package of remixes. Paolo Rocco uses the vocals more as effect snippets and takes the track 15-20 years back in time to a more underground dub-house feel. Fabio Giannelli makes the track even darker and builds into beautiful and melancholic piano elements that leaves your ears with a totally new impression of the track. Emerson Todd also keeps the ultra dark feel of the original, but makes it more club friendly with quirky pitched down vocals and more drive to the outcome.

Claptone - Wrong

German Claptone’s love affair with hiphop continues with "Wrong" on their latest EP on the always tasty German label Exploited. Using Dr.Dre inspiration this one is obviously going straight to number 1 on beatport. The B Side "No Eyes" features the lush vocals from Jaw and oozes slow mo MDMA highs. Out 21st January.

Miguel Puente - Small Proposition EP

Born in Mexico and currently based in Barcelona, Miguel Puente made himself a name with releases on Hot Waves and Art Department's No. 19 Music. For his OFF-debut he presents 2 diverse originals: "Small Proposition" is all about its catchy and bold vocal sample and a massive bassline, a track that will go down very well with pop-loving DJs. "Lil Freakyness" has similar ingredients, but uses them in a sleazier and darker manner, making it the weapon of choice for your next afterhour-set. Mat.Joe deliver their first remix for OFF, turning Small Proposition into a more groove-based affair which builds towards a big central break.
