Claptone - Wrong

German Claptone’s love affair with hiphop continues with "Wrong" on their latest EP on the always tasty German label Exploited. Using Dr.Dre inspiration this one is obviously going straight to number 1 on beatport. The B Side "No Eyes" features the lush vocals from Jaw and oozes slow mo MDMA highs. Out 21st January.

Doctor Dru - Foolish

I have previously posted "2 Know U" from Hamburg-based DJ/producer Doctor Dru. Now it is time for the B-side of his new two-track record for Exploited. Doctor Dru has just unveiled the video for "Foolish," with featuring a nude model drenched in gold paint, contrasts from the more subtle sultriness of the music itself, but despite this contrast, the colorful, glittering visuals make for a fitting representation of Doctor Dru's late-night vibes.

Claptone - Another Night

Claptone opened 2012 with the Beatport Top10 track 'Cream' which has become our most succesful tune on Shir Khan's Exploited. Since then, Claptone has conquered hearts from clubbers and DJs worldwide. Claptone belongs to a new generation of artists from the Exploited roaster who - together with Adana Twins and Doctor Dru - took the dance-world by storm, playing shows all over the world now.

Doctor Dru - 2 Know U

Shir Khan’s Exploited label returns with another powerful release: This time from Hamburg based DJ & Producer Doctor Dru whose debut on Exploited was the collaboration "Juicy Fruit" with partners Adana Twins. With "The Voice of Dru" Doctor Dru created a modern take on a classic italo track which - within a few days - became a Beatport Top 10 Hit and was sitting comfortably on Deephouse No.1 for weeks. Now Doctor Dru is back with "2 Know U" that premiered last week on Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1 and the next "Something Special" release in Mixmag.

Adana Twins - Everyday Remix EP

Hamburg duo The Adana Twins have been in the limelight of every chart over the past year, topping the poles of Beatport and Resident Advisor respectfully. Their "Juicy Fruit" hit last year took the deep house faithfull by storm picking up huge support across the board from DJs of all genres.
The unexpected success of their "Everday EP" in February 2012 resulted in a huge tour schedule, a bunch of new remixes and masses of press attention for The Adana Twins. Aside from their hectic worldwide touring schedule, the guys were recently being hosted on Pete Tong's Radio One and have just remixed tracks for Tiger Stripes, Ilves & Migiva, Viadrina and Kasper Bjoerke.
Adana Twins are playing in sold-out venues now and are causing sit downs during their sets when they pull out their anthems "Everyday" and "Strange". Amine Edge & DANCE, NTFO, La Fleur and Andre Crom & Martin Dawson delivered new mixes for them.

Tracklist:

01: Adana Twins - Everyday (Amine Edge & DANCE Remix)
02: Adana Twins - Strange (NTFO Remix)
03: Adana Twins - Strange (La Fleur Remix)
04: Adana Twins - Everyday (Andre Crom & Martin Dawson Remix)

Bukka & Molinari - Mind Games

Bukka & Molinari's, "Mind Games". I'm afraid I can't remember the original but it’s a dreamy, lush jaunt into coastal atmospheres and fluttering arpeggios. A nice Balearic guitar lick rolls through the track alongside gentle pads before a completely invigorating male vocal transports us off into celestial bliss.

Cocolores – Vox

Germany's Exploited label returns with yet another powerful release, this time from young Munich-based duo, Cocolores. The label has been hitting us with back to back 5-star EPs that usually end up topping the charts a month later (Claptone's "Cream" and Adana Twins' "Everyday" both reached the top on Beatport) so it is obviously exciting to see a new one show up. Labeled as "the return of Nouveau Bavaria", Cocolores is Jason Heath and Manuel Garay - two youngsters from Munich who produce a unique blend of 90ies house with a delictable tinge of urban funkiness. With their debutrelease "Heart Quest" (which will see remixes by Deetron & Trickski soon) they have conquered the hearts of many DJs and beautiful girls&boys. They currently remixed Mercury for Gomma and Eli Escobar for Plant and their 3rd EP for Exploited is already in the making. For now check out the follow-up "Vox" by these 2 gentlemen.
